Akshay Bansal and Rishi Gupta, (entrepreneurs, brothers & friends) who have been building businesses together for over a decade now.
After completing their master’s degrees, they came together to start their joint venture, driven by a shared ambition to build meaningful, well-designed brands.
Over the years, their entrepreneurial journey led them to build and grow ventures such as HAKEN SYSTEMS and SKYNUP. Haken Systems reflects their experience in building technology-led solutions and systems (the very first Indian company to start Smart Locks in India), while Skynup represents their ability to create modern, consumer-focused businesses with a strong emphasis on innovation, usability and growth providing a very premium quality of mobile accessories in india at an affordable pricing.
They entered a new chapter of life when they became fathers.
Parenthood changed their perspective. Quality, safety, thoughtful design and everyday practicality suddenly became more personal than ever.
During a trip to Finland, a visit to the quiet northern town of Ivalo sparked an idea. Inspired by Nordic living, they discovered a world where baby products combined beautiful design, functionality and quality, while making outdoor life with little ones feel natural.
They returned to India with a simple belief: parents should not have to choose between quality, design and affordability.
That belief became the foundation of Ivalo — a brand inspired by Nordic simplicity and created around the real needs of modern Indian families.
